Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tan Review

IMG_20170406_152009_868.jpg

Hi everyone! I am thrilled to do this review today because I have really enjoyed using this product. It’s the Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tan.

20170405_061949Here is a photo of me without any makeup on before trying the product out. This will help you to see the difference in skin tone between my skin then and now.

20170415_105623This is me wearing the product. This is after 7 days of wearing it. I think my skin looks pretty good! Flawless, even skin tone and a nice color to my skin.

20170414_163138And here I am on the 7th after day taking off the product. Can you see a difference in my skin tone compared to the first photo? I definitely can see that my skin looks tanner.

I love that it is a gradual tan just like it says. It didn’t make any streaks on my face and it was super easy to use. A little goes a long way also, so don’t pump out too much when first applying it to your face. The bottle contains two separate bottles inside of it. One has the foundation and the other has the gradual tanner in it.

When I pump the product out, I mix it together on my fingertips and then apply it to my face with my hands. I have foundation makeup brushes but lately I’ve been into using my hands to apply foundation. It’s really easy to use and goes on nicely. I think that a bottle of this product will last me quite a while and I’m definitely considering purchasing this in the future as it is only $12.99 for a bottle at my local Target.

The shade that I’m using is the Light/Medium 200. It also comes in Light 100 and Medium 300.

I received this product free to test and review from Crowdtap. They gave me two bottles. One for myself and one for a friend. The one that I gave my friend is the Light 100 shade. She was super happy to receive it.

PART_1492361940562_IMG_20170416_095822So, here is a picture of my friend after trying the Light 100 shade. She said that it went on smoothly and she loves the way it looks on her skin. I’m so happy that she ended up being a fan of the product just like me.

Have any of you guys tried this foundation out? I would love to hear your thoughts and/or questions!

L’Oreal AIR DRY IT Wave Swept Spray Review

IMG_20170309_105222_531

Happy Saturday everyone! I’m really excited to tell you about this new hair product that I’ve been using for the past month; L’Oreal’s AIR DRY IT Wave Swept Spray!

It has a very pleasant scent; light and sort of fruity.

It’s super easy to use. You just:

  1. Spray throughout towel-dried hair
  2. Scrunch your hair
  3. Then AIR DRY IT

It also says that if you have naturally straight hair to apply the product, then put your hair in a braid to create soft waves. So far I haven’t tried the braiding method because my hair is naturally wavy, but I would love to try that to see how my waves turn out afterwards.

IMG_20170413_170800_948I love that it gives my hair so much volume and it really keeps my waves in place throughout the entire day. Although I have naturally wavy hair, if I don’t apply a product to it in the morning, the waves eventually fall out and my hair ends up pretty straight. I would definitely say that this product does what it says it will do. It helps my hair resist frizz, adds a shine to it and provides a hold for a textured, wavy look. Also, my hair isn’t crunchy or anything.

IMG_20170311_140700_838I don’t always say this about products that I get to test and review but I LOVE this product! It’s definitely going to remain a staple in my hair routine every morning. I used to just let my hair air dry without product in it, but this has definitely given my hair life! I also love the fact that I don’t have to use any heat on my hair due to blow drying. The price point is also very affordable. It’s only $3.97 at my local Target. The only downfall is that the bottle is only 4.2 ounces.

An interesting thing about the beautiful packaging is that it was designed by international artist and fashion collaborator Stina Persson. The design on the bottle is actually water color artwork which I find to be very fitting for this type of product.

Not only does L’Oreal carry this amazing product, but they also have 2 other products in their AIR DRY IT collection.

They have the AIR DRY IT Undone Style Cream which seems to be the cream version of the AIR DRY IT Wave Swept Spray that I have.

There is also the AIR DRY IT Ruffled Body Mousse which seems to be more for people with curly hair, but I would be willing to try this out to see what my hair would look like.

Have you tried any of the products in L’Oreal’s AIR DRY It collection? I would love to hear your thoughts. And as always, if you have any questions about the product that I tried out, please leave them below.

I received this product free for testing and review purposes from Influenster and all opinions are my own.

The Hair Mother Cellar Silky Hair Argan Ampule Review

IMG_20170326_103120_080.jpg

Happy Thursday all! Today I would like to tell you about The Hair Mother Cellar Silky Hair Argan Ampule. I have been using this on my hair the last week and I feel it has done a great job of making my hair look nice and healthy.

20170330_190609.jpg

This was enjoyable to use! I love that it comes with a pump, makes it very easy to use. I just take a small pump of it, rub it between my hands and then through the ends and middle of my hair. With argan oil I always avoid putting it on my scalp so that it doesn’t make it look greasy. It has a nice scent also. It also comes with a lot of product so I know this will last me a long time. It is an oil, so I usually wash my hands after applying it to my hair. No biggie though.

Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant and Deodorant Review

17439270_1362481633790982_3336772135350697984_n(1)

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I’d like to tell you about the antiperspirant that I’ve been using for the past 2 weeks. It’s the Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant and Deodorant. I think it does a great job of keeping me sweat and odor free. If you are someone who deodorant just doesn’t do the job for you, I would recommend trying Secret’s Clinical Strength.

The scent that I have been using is Light & Fresh which I enjoy. I like that the product is a soft solid, not a solid stick. So you can decide how much product you want to dispense out. It’s also a nice compact size so it’s easy to take anywhere like on a trip or whatever.

Have you ladies tried this particular antiperspirant before? Or what about the Secret brand in general? I would love to hear your thoughts and/or questions below.
