This is Us; Music from the Series

Screenshot_20170914-115904Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great week. It’s almost Friday, yeay! Today I’m super excited to talk with you about music from the series This is Us! I’m a HUGE fan of the show and I can’t wait for the new season to start!

I had the opportunity to listen to songs from the Series from Season 1. This digital album will be released tomorrow; Friday September 15th and you can preorder it here.

There wasn’t one song that I didn’t like. I love that most of the music seems to be from the 70’s and I knew a good chunk of the songs. The music that was chosen for this album is so fitting for the series. It gets me sentimental just listening to the songs.

I’m also excited to share with you guys that the This Is Us Music – Facebook Listening Party is on the release date which is tomorrow; Sept. 15 at 10am PT/1pm ET. Tune in to listen to these great songs from the series!

Origins GinZing VoxBox Review

20170822_170529Happy Tuesday everyone! I’m really excited to tell you about these skincare products that I received complimentary from Influenster. I was so pumped when I found out that I was getting the Origins GinZing VoxBox! I’ve used Origins products in the past and I’ve also heard a lot of great things about this brand. So lets get on into it and I’ll tell you about my experience with these wonderful products!

20170822_164539The Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser is so awesome! It smells delicious! It has a nice citrus scent which definitely awakened my senses every morning while I would be washing my face. I also love the grains that smooth out and refresh my skin. This cleanser basically gives my skin a fresh, clean slate every day to start over with. I used this in the evening also. It was very gentle on my skin and it did a great job of making my skin feel clean and fresh.

20170822_164630The Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer was also very pleasant to use every morning and night. It has a light citrus scent to it. A little goes a long way which is fantastic because that means this will definitely last me a long time and you definitely get your money’s worth with this moisturizer. It  did a great job of hydrating my skin and the jar made it really easy to just tap my fingertip into the product and apply it to my face and neck.

20170822_164645Last but certainly not least is the Origins GinZing Eye Cream. This doesn’t have a citrus scent to it like the other two products, but the scent is not bad. It has a nice consistency and it’s a pearly pink color. I enjoyed applying this under my eyes at nighttime (personal preference to use it in the nighttime only since my eyeliner tends to run sometimes during the day) and my under-eyes definitely felt hydrated after using this.

Overall I LOVE this Origins GinZing skincare set! I definitely plan to continue using these products and I’m considering adding more Origins products to my beauty regimen in the future.

I received these products free for testing and review purposes from Influenster and all opinions are my own.

Have you guys tried the GinZing line yet or are you interested in trying it? What about any other Origins products? I’d love to hear from you!

Olay Ultra Moisture with Shea Butter Body Wash Review

Screenshot_20170821-163549.jpg

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I wanted to hop on here real quick and give you a review of the Olay Ultra Moisture with Shea Butter Body Wash.

I received a sample of this body wash a while back and I really enjoyed using it! It has a nice scent that isn’t perfumey or strong. I mostly used it to shave my legs instead of using it as a body wash and it worked great! It also left my skin feeling soft and smelling good.

This blog post was written as an entry into a contest by Influenster.

Have you guys tried any of the Olay body washes? I’d love to hear what you think! Please feel free to comment below.

Until next time,

Simply Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Collection Review

20170716_152213

Happy Thursday everyone! I’m excited to tell you about these products that I’ve been using recently. I received them free from Crowdtap for testing and review purposes and all opinions are my own. It’s the Simply Summer’s Eve Coconut Water collection which includes: a package of 24 Cleansing Cloths, a box of 14 individually wrapped Cleansing Cloths, and Gentle Foaming Wash. Keep reading if you want to hear what I thought of them. 🙂

20170720_190632I really enjoyed using the Simply Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Cleansing Cloths. You can use them at home (like I did) or easily take them with you traveling wherever you go. The coconut scent smells delicious, especially for summertime. I felt that the cloths did a great job of making me feel cleansed and fresh and I had no irritation whatsoever. The packaging is also very sturdy which is great because it keeps the cloths moist.

20170720_190604These Simply Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Cleansing Cloths are basically the same as the ones in the package above, they are just wrapped individually so you can shove a couple in your purse, backpack, luggage, etc. Very convenient to have and the packaging is sturdy.

20170720_190533Last but certainly not least is the Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Gentle Foaming Wash. This stuff is great because you don’t need to lather up any soap because it does all that for you! You just squeeze one pump of foam into your hand and you’re good to go.  I thought that this also did a great job of making me feel clean and helping me stay fresh. I didn’t have any irritation with this cleanser.

Overall I definitely enjoyed using these products and will continue using the ones I have. Have you tried any products from the Simply Summer’s Eve line or are you interested in trying them? Please feel free to comment below.

Summer’s Eve also has a Simply Summer’s Eve Collection in Mandarin Blossom.

Until next time,

Jafra Royal Jelly Line Review

IMG_20170530_211025_508Happy Independence Day! This past month I have had the pleasure of having the Jafra Royal Jelly line as my daily skincare routine. I received these products free for testing and review purposes from Crowdtap. I’ve been using these products day and night and can’t wait to tell you about my experience with them. First things first, I think Jafra’s Royal Jelly line packaging is very classy! White and gold are perfect together.

20170704_113633The Jafra Royal Jelly Gentle Cleansing Milk did a nice job of cleansing my skin. Just like it says it was very gentle on my skin. I didn’t feel any irritation after using it. The squeeze tube made it really easy to use. The only downfall is the scent. It has a hint of  a chlorine scent to it. I usually get over the scent after I’ve used it, so it isn’t too strong.

20170704_113804The Jafra Royal Jelly Vitamin Infusions Spot Serum was quite enjoyable to use. It sank into my skin nicely and felt very light on my skin. Also, the scent is pretty nice.

20170704_113704The Jafra Royal Jelly Global Longevity Creme was my favorite product out of the entire line. The texture is nice and thick and it’s very moisturizing. I really enjoyed applying this to my face and neck. It smells quite similar to the Spot Serum.

20170704_114047When I apply the Jafra Royal Jelly Global Longevity Eye Creme to my eyes, it makes them feel nice and hydrated. It doesn’t have too much of a scent.

20170704_113724Last but not least, I felt that the Jafra Royal Jelly Solar Protection Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 50 did a great job of protecting my skin from the sun. It has a pleasant scent and somewhat of a sunscreen scent which I didn’t mind. It has a thin texture so it went onto my skin and blended really easily. It didn’t leave any white residue like sunscreens tend to do.

PhotoGrid_1498764322871I really enjoyed using the Royal Jelly Line. This was my first time using products from this brand and they did not disappoint. I’m definitely going to continue using these products and I look forward to seeing how my skin looks as I use the products.

Have any of you guys used the Royal Jelly Line or any other Jafra products? If not, what brands do you use to keep your skin looking young and healthy?

Until next time,

~Rachael~

Kleenex Multicare Large Tissue Review

IMG_20170529_144717_853Happy Thursday everyone! Today I want to tell you guys about the Kleenex Multicare large tissues. I was fortunate to receive these for free to test out from Chatterbox.

20170529_144840My boyfriend and I love having BBQ’s at our home and so I thought what better way to test these Kleenex Multicare tissues out. I decided to use them to clean my patio table. I thought they did a pretty good job, but I would say I’d prefer to use these more so for wiping my hands when I’m eating a snack or when cold/flu/allergy season hits because one regular size Kleenex sometimes just doesn’t do the job.

I definitely considering purchasing these in the future along with the regular size Kleenex tissues that I usually buy because sometimes you just need a bigger tissue and you don’t want to have to use multiple tissues to get the job done. I picked these up at my local Target. Man I love Target! Who doesn’t, right?

Have you guys tried the Kleenex Multiuse large tissues before or are you interested in trying them? Please feel free to comment below.

Until next time,

Super Easy Curly Hair Hack

PhotoGrid_1498420140032.jpgHappy Sunday everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend so far. I got some pool time in which was super fun and much needed in this 100°+ weather we’ve been having. I just wanted to pop in quickly today and show you my super easy curly hair hack.

I’m not sure if this will work for everyone. It might depend on your hair type but I have fine hair, just so you guys know.

So here’s all I did to get these voluminous curls. Yesterday afternoon right after getting out of the shower, I put my hair up in a bun using one of these cloth hair ties. I love these things! They don’t pull on your hair and they don’t break like some of the elastic ones do.

20170625_125857.jpgThen I took my hair down 24 hours later and wah lah! It’s super easy to do if you forget your curling iron somewhere or if you just want a heat-free alternative to curling your hair.

Do any of you ladies already use this method? Or do you have any questions about it? Please feel free to comment below.

Until next time,

Rachael
