Jafra Royal Jelly Line Review

IMG_20170530_211025_508Happy Independence Day! This past month I have had the pleasure of having the Jafra Royal Jelly line as my daily skincare routine. I received these products free for testing and review purposes from Crowdtap. I’ve been using these products day and night and can’t wait to tell you about my experience with them. First things first, I think Jafra’s Royal Jelly line packaging is very classy! White and gold are perfect together.

20170704_113633The Jafra Royal Jelly Gentle Cleansing Milk did a nice job of cleansing my skin. Just like it says it was very gentle on my skin. I didn’t feel any irritation after using it. The squeeze tube made it really easy to use. The only downfall is the scent. It has a hint of  a chlorine scent to it. I usually get over the scent after I’ve used it, so it isn’t too strong.

20170704_113804The Jafra Royal Jelly Vitamin Infusions Spot Serum was quite enjoyable to use. It sank into my skin nicely and felt very light on my skin. Also, the scent is pretty nice.

20170704_113704The Jafra Royal Jelly Global Longevity Creme was my favorite product out of the entire line. The texture is nice and thick and it’s very moisturizing. I really enjoyed applying this to my face and neck. It smells quite similar to the Spot Serum.

20170704_114047When I apply the Jafra Royal Jelly Global Longevity Eye Creme to my eyes, it makes them feel nice and hydrated. It doesn’t have too much of a scent.

20170704_113724Last but not least, I felt that the Jafra Royal Jelly Solar Protection Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 50 did a great job of protecting my skin from the sun. It has a pleasant scent and somewhat of a sunscreen scent which I didn’t mind. It has a thin texture so it went onto my skin and blended really easily. It didn’t leave any white residue like sunscreens tend to do.

PhotoGrid_1498764322871I really enjoyed using the Royal Jelly Line. This was my first time using products from this brand and they did not disappoint. I’m definitely going to continue using these products and I look forward to seeing how my skin looks as I use the products.

Have any of you guys used the Royal Jelly Line or any other Jafra products? If not, what brands do you use to keep your skin looking young and healthy?

Until next time,

L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Color Correcting Kit, Foundation & Concealing and Contour Kit Review

20170603_120126.jpgHappy Sunday ladies! I was lucky to have the opportunity to test out these L’Oreal Infallible  Total Cover products for free thanks to BzzAgent. Continue reading if you want to find out what I thought of these products and to see some photos of the results.

20170603_132841The L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Color Correcting Kit worked really well. It was also really easy to use as I just tapped my fingertip on whichever color I wanted to use and then I could build up the product if I needed to do so. The green color corrector which is meant to neutralize red tones did a great job of doing that for my skin. I practically applied it over my entire face because my face tends to have a lot of redness to it and it completely got rid of the redness. I put the peach color corrector under my eyes and it did a pretty good job of reducing my dark circles. I applied the yellow color corrector on top of the peach color corrector to further neutralize my dark circles because I didn’t really have anywhere else to put the yellow. I applied the purple color corrector to my cheekbones to help brighten them. You could definitely see how the purple color corrector drew attention to my cheekbones. I will undoubtedly continue using this kit and will probably be purchasing this in the future because I like so many things about it.

The L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation does an awesome job at evening my skin tone and providing excellent coverage all over my face. It felt really lightweight and I loved the fluffy yet thicker texture of the foundation because that made it easy to go onto my skin and gave me the confidence that it would do its job. I felt that it did a good job of lasting throughout the entire day. I also like that it comes in a tube and the tube has a fine tip on it so that you don’t accidentally squeeze out too much foundation. I’m definitely going to continue using this product and consider purchasing this in the future.

The Infallible Total Cover Concealing and Contour Kit was pretty fun to use. I like the fact that it was in cream form instead of powder (which is what I usually use) because to me it was easier to blend. I used the lighter shades to highlight down the bridge of my nose and my forehead. I used the darker contouring shade on my cheekbones, forehead, and chin. I will definitely continue using this contour kit and I’m excited to see what other ways I can try to use it.

Here is a photo of me after my entire makeup routine is complete. As you can see, I’m definitely a fan of these products and I will continue using them.
Have you tried any of L’Oreal’s Infallible Total Cover line? Are you interested in trying it or do you have any questions about the products that I’ve tried? Please feel free to comment below.

Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tan Review

IMG_20170406_152009_868.jpg

Hi everyone! I am thrilled to do this review today because I have really enjoyed using this product. It’s the Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tan.

20170405_061949Here is a photo of me without any makeup on before trying the product out. This will help you to see the difference in skin tone between my skin then and now.

20170415_105623This is me wearing the product. This is after 7 days of wearing it. I think my skin looks pretty good! Flawless, even skin tone and a nice color to my skin.

20170414_163138And here I am on the 7th after day taking off the product. Can you see a difference in my skin tone compared to the first photo? I definitely can see that my skin looks tanner.

I love that it is a gradual tan just like it says. It didn’t make any streaks on my face and it was super easy to use. A little goes a long way also, so don’t pump out too much when first applying it to your face. The bottle contains two separate bottles inside of it. One has the foundation and the other has the gradual tanner in it.

When I pump the product out, I mix it together on my fingertips and then apply it to my face with my hands. I have foundation makeup brushes but lately I’ve been into using my hands to apply foundation. It’s really easy to use and goes on nicely. I think that a bottle of this product will last me quite a while and I’m definitely considering purchasing this in the future as it is only $12.99 for a bottle at my local Target.

The shade that I’m using is the Light/Medium 200. It also comes in Light 100 and Medium 300.

I received this product free to test and review from Crowdtap. They gave me two bottles. One for myself and one for a friend. The one that I gave my friend is the Light 100 shade. She was super happy to receive it.

PART_1492361940562_IMG_20170416_095822So, here is a picture of my friend after trying the Light 100 shade. She said that it went on smoothly and she loves the way it looks on her skin. I’m so happy that she ended up being a fan of the product just like me.

Have any of you guys tried this foundation out? I would love to hear your thoughts and/or questions!

Until next time,

~Rachael~
