Influenster Cheers VoxBox

I was fortunate enough to be chosen for the Influenster #CheersVoxBox toward the beginning of the new year, hence Cheers Voxbox. 🙂  Influenster selects people for Voxboxes based on your Social Impact Score but I believe also based on how much activity you do on the site like: leaving reviews of products, asking questions about products and sharing products from Influenster onto your social media platforms.

My Cheers Voxbox (others varied slightly by which Suave hair product they received) contained the following goodies:

Simply Sprouted Way Better Snacks Simply So Sweet Chili Corn Tortilla Chips

Here is the rundown on what these are all about:

-Vegan

-Certified Gluten Free

-Non-GMO

-Certified Kosher

-100% Whole Grain

-No Trans Fat

-Made with Sprouted Ingredients: flax, quinoa, chia, broccoli, and radish.

I’m so happy I was introduced to these because they are tasty and healthy but also apparently the sprouted ingredients are easy to digest which makes more nutrients available for your body to absorb, and one 1.25 ounce bag contains 500mg of essential fatty acids.

I can definitely say that I’ll be purchasing these in the future.  I’m also really curious to try out their other flavors like Tangy Mustard & Onion and Spicy Sriracha. You can pick them up at Target or if all else fails,  Target.com.

-Dr Teal’s Pure Epsom Salt; Soothe and Sleep with Lavender

It was a nice sized bag that I will be able to get many uses out of since I mainly use it with my at-home foot spa.

The scent is pleasant and it really did help me to relax right before bed.

This is something I will probably pick up in the future since I hear so many great things about Epsom salts and I had a good experience with it myself.

-Suave Professionals Biotin Infusion Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner

These had a really enjoyable scent and made my hair really soft and shiny.

I also liked the fact that the shampoo was purple which typically means that it is supposed to color-protect.  Coincidentally I had just dyed my hair prior to testing these for the first time, so it worked out great.

There is a good chance that I may buy this in the future.  🙂

-A full value coupon for Hormel Taco Meats; Shredded Chicken

They have 4 options: ground beef, shredded pork, shredded chicken and and shredded beef.  I chose shredded chicken.

It was really simple to prepare:

-Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large non-stick skillet.

-Remove chicken from package.

-Heat, covered over medium heat, stirring once halfway through heating, about 3-4 minutes.

-Serve with tortillas and favorite toppings.

It also had the option of microwave instructions.

I served the Hormel Shredded Chicken on tortillas with tomatoes, onions, cilantro, shredded cheese, sour cream and guacamole salsa.  It was quite tasty and super easy and quick to make.  Even after reading the ingredients, the only one that stood out to me was dextrose which is a form of sugar and I would prefer if they had a package with just white meat, since I am not a huge fan of dark meat.  I would definitely recommend this as an easy meal for singles, couples, families or anyone in between.

When I went on Hormel.com, I found several recipes that you can put together using Hormel Taco Meats.  Here is the link:  http://hormel.com/Brands/Hormel-Taco-Meats.aspx  I actually made myself a Torta (not pictured) which was delicious as well.

I think I’ll definitely be picking these up at the store again, especially so I can try out some of the other flavors.

-A postcard for the Yaye Fitness App

I downloaded the app and invited several friends to join me, but I wasn’t successful in getting people to download the app.  It does have a lot of great features: you can create as many different workout groups as you want and invite your friends so that you can watch each other’s progress, encourage each other and it’s an easy way to stay in contact.  It also lets you set workout goals, tracks your exercise time, your steps and calories burned.  It definitely has all the components you need to track your activity level and progress and I would recommend it.  I have a couple other activity apps that I use so I probably won’t be using this one much, especially because I couldn’t get anyone to join with me, but I do think it is a well designed and useful app.

-A Postcard from Peonyandme.com for 25% off

I didn’t end up using this coupon (not for any negative reason) and it expired on February 14th.  I did check out the website and the clothes looked really cute and ideal for working out.  I’m not as active as I should be right now so I wasn’t as motivated to buy workout clothes at that time.  But I appreciate Influenster giving us the discount code though. 🙂

As you can see, this VoxBox was packed with some pretty awesome and useful stuff.  I’m happy to be a member of Influenster because it’s so fun to review, test out and share about these items with you and if you aren’t a member yet, please click the green Influenster Blogger Network button at the bottom right of the homepage of my blog. 🙂  Not only will you enjoy being an Influenster, but I will also get points for referring you (which I would be grateful for).  I received all of these products for free but all my opinions are my own.

I’m currently in the process of working on another Influenster campaign, and I will post details about that at a later date.

Take care,
