Zzzquil Influenster VoxBox Quick Review

Hi guys and happy hump day!  I received the Zzzquil VoxBox this month. I’m not big on swallowing pills, capsules or anything whole so I wasn’t as excited to receive this as I would have been if it were in liquid form, but I’m grateful to at least be able to write a review with the input of a friend of mine.

So my friend took the Zzzquil capsules last night before bed, the sample came with 2 capsules as well as a coupon. She said that she didn’t find that it made a difference with how she slept but it did help her fall asleep faster than usual which can be a huge plus. Especially with our busy lives of working, kids, hobbies, housework and other things that are generally on our minds on a daily basis. It appears that she was pleased with the product. I personally love the packaging, the beautiful deep purple is quite appealing to the eyes. I received #Zzzquil free for testing and review purposes.

I am an Influenster Dr Teal’s Top 50 Brand Badge Prize Winner!

Hello guys!  I’m so excited today to share with you what I just received in the mail a couple days ago! (it’s now been a month ago but the excitement is still there lol)  As you know from my previous blog posts, I’m a member of Influenster.  In my Cheers VoxBox which I received back in February, one of the items included was a bag of Dr Teal’s Epsom Salts.  For each item in my VoxBox I had to do different activities like: post a photo to Instagram with the product in the photo, make a post on Facebook, make a video, etc.  If you complete all of the required activities for each of the products, you get entered into the contests for a chance to win a prize pack from one of the brands.  So, I completed all of the activities for each of the products of course because who doesn’t love a chance to win stuff?

About a month ago or so I got an email from Influenster telling me that I won the Dr Teal’s Brand Badge Top 50 prize pack!  I’m not certain, but I think this means I was one of 50 people chosen and that is pretty freakin’ awesome odds considering how many people received this VoxBox.  Of course I was really excited and it said it would be here in a few weeks so I waited to find out what would be in this prize pack (because they don’t always tell you ahead of time, makes it more fun that way).

As I mentioned earlier, I received my prize pack box in the mail on Thursday.  🙂  Because it is so close to my birthday (June 1st), I was thinking maybe this was a birthday present. Somehow I didn’t register that this could be my prize pack.  It was also really heavy so that got me more excited to see what was inside the box!  I hurriedly opened it with the help of my boyfriend because I couldn’t wait to see what was inside!

Here’s what was inside:

Prior to receiving this box, I had only tried the Epsom salt, so I’m very happy to have all of these products.  And, they’ll last me a long time since they are gigantic!

Dr Teal’s Foaming Bath Super Moisturizer Avocado Oil smells amazing and is not only made with Avocado Oil of course, but it also has Orange Peel in it.

Dr Teal’s Ultra Moisturizing Body Wash Soothe & Sleep with Lavender is perfect when you want to have a relaxing night in or after a long day and you want to settle down before bed.  It’s made with Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Epsom Salt, Lavender and Tea Tree Oil. The Lavender scent whisked me away and made me feel like I was at the spa.

Dr Teal’s Pure Epsom Salt Soaking Solution Detoxify & Energize with Ginger and Clay. It’s made with Ginger Root Oil, Lemon Peel Oil and Clay.  Naturally removes your body’s built-up toxins, helps increase natural energy levels, and it eases aches and muscle pains. You can use this in your bathtub to detoxify your body, to soothe muscles and body pains or to relieve sprains and stings.

Here’s how:

-Detoxify your body:  Pour at least 2 cups of Dr Teal’s Epsom Salt under warm, running bath water.  Soak for 20 minutes and let the rich minerals absorb through the skin, offering relief to sore muscles.

-Soothe muscles and body pains:  Create a soothing paste by dissolving a handful of Dr Teal’s Epsom Salt into a cup of hot water and cool the solution in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes. Clean the skin before applying the paste to the affected area.

-Relieve sprains and stings:  Add 1 cup of Dr Teal’s Epsom Salt to 1 quart of warm water. Immerse a wash cloth in the solution, then wring out excess water. Apply the warm wash cloth to the affected area until the wash cloth is no longer warm. Repeat two to three times to help reduce pain and swelling.

I love that this has many uses!  I used this in my foot spa and I enjoyed how it felt on my feet.  It’s such a great way to relax!

Dr Teal’s Pure Epsom Salt Soaking Solution Comfort & Calm with Chamomile. Calms your mind and comforts your body and eases aches and muscle pains.  It’s made with Chamomile Flower Oil.  Just like the Detoxify & Energize Epsom Salt above, you can use this for all of the same purposes.

I tried this one out also and I enjoyed the chamomile and lemon scent and found it to be a relaxing treat for my feet!

Influenster TRESemmé #ReverseYourRoutine VoxBox Review

Hello everyone!  Sorry I have been sort of off the track for a while.  I was quite excited when I found out that I was getting the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume #ReverseYourRoutine VoxBox from Influenster.  I’ve never heard of the concept of conditioning your hair first and then washing it, and that’s what this TRESemmé campaign is all about.

The packaging is super cute don’t ya think?  I love the color!  The only thing that perplexed me is why the conditioner is significantly smaller than the shampoo.  My thinking is it’s because it only requires 3 pumps of conditioner and the pumps don’t produce a lot of conditioner.

As you can see in the picture above, I took this photo after I’ve already gotten some good use out of them.  Anyways, I loved this TRESemmé hair system!  It smells AMAZING so that’s a plus right off the bat.  The conditioner instantly made my hair soft and detangled it with ease.  Also, I love the pearly look and soft feel of the shampoo.  Both the conditioner and the shampoo have this essence like I’m in a salon.  Salon quality shampooing without the salon price?  Can’t beat that!

Since I started using this hair system, it’s inspired me to go with the super wavy natural look.  I typically brush my hair out after I wash my hair, but I decided, just like people with really curly hair typically do, to not brush it out too much and just let it dry how it falls.  I was very impressed with how much volume and shine my hair has after using these products.

Thank you to Influenster and TRESemmé for giving me the opportunity to flip my hair care routine on it’s head.  I really enjoy using these products and overall I like how they make my hair look and feel.  I have tried TRESemmé products in the past that I didn’t feel washed or conditioned my hair very well, and in my eyes TRESemmé, you have redeemed yourself!  I’ve talked to quite a few people about this hair care set and they said they have tried it and like it too.
