Top-Dog Lakers Kobe Bryant Silicone Bracelets Review

img_20160911_153948Happy Tuesday everyone!  So my boyfriend got to try out these Top-Dog Lakers Kobe Bryant silicone bracelets.  I’m super happy about that because he loves the Lakers and Kobe Bryant especially.

He says he really likes the writing on the bracelets.  2 of the 3 bracelets have Kobe’s name, signature, number on them.  The purple one differs becaues it snaps on and it says “See You Again.”  The white one glows in the dark which he thought was kewl.

Swissvita Facial Cleanser Review

Micrite 3D All Use Cleanser Cream

Happy Sunday everybody!  I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.  I just came back from a pedicure so I can definitely say that was a good ending to my weekend.

So I’ve been using this facial cleanser for the past week and I feel it has done a pretty good job of cleaning my face. The packaging is unique; in a metal tube. And the product itself has no scent to it. It seems to be easy on my skin. I like the texture and look of the product. It’s white and creamy and goes smoothly onto my skin while I’m washing my face.

These Before & After photos were taken just after only ONE use of the facial cleanser!  To me it seems like it brightened my skin.  I will add an After photo later on to show you the difference a week made.  I have foundation on right now otherwise I’d be able to post it. 🙂

I received this product free for testing and review purposes and all opinions are my own.

So if you’re saying to yourself “Self, how do I find out more about this awesome facial cleanser?” or “Where do I go to buy this?” look no further but right here.

If you’ve tried this before, have any questions about it, or have a favorite facial cleanser that you like to use, feel free to comment below!

StitchFix Fashion Show: September 2016

Hi ladies! So I cannot tell you how excited I am to do my first ever StitchFix Fashion Show on my blog! Not only is it my first fashion show, but it’s my first StitchFix styling as well. This month’s StitchFix styling was complimentary and I am so excited to share the contents with you!

Upon first opening the box, I knew it was a good Fix right away because I love the gray and mint colored pieces, they really popped out at me.

How does StitchFix work?

Let me fill you guys in a little bit on how StitchFix works. You make an account on their site. Then you answer questions in your Style Profile so that your stylist can put together a Fix (which is their way of saying a styling) that you’ll love and then they ship it off to you based on how often you want to receive them.

How often can I get a Fix?

You can set a schedule to receive a Fix every 2-3 weeks, every month, every other month, every 3 months or set your own schedule. You also have the option to cancel your order if something comes up and you need to cancel for whatever reason. The styling fee is $20 which includes shipping to your home as well as shipping costs for any items you want to send back.

You can make your Style Profile as detailed as you want. You can tell them specifics colors and/or prints you want to avoid and all kinds of things! There is even an area where you can write a note to your stylist AND you can provide them with your social media handles so they can get an idea of your style online as well.

Onto the event that everyone’s been waiting for!

I received 5 different clothing pieces in my Fix.

The first one is super cute and classy. I love that it is fitted around the waist, which is more slimming. I can see me wearing this on a date, to work, or even a wedding.

Pixley; Millie Textured Knit Dress

This next piece is in one of my favorite colors! I love the fit and style and once again, I can see me being able to wear this in a variety of settings as well as with shorts, jeans or work pants.

Skies are Blue; Landry Eyelet Trim Pullover

Next up are two pieces that I received.  I paired these adorable pink skinny jeans with the knitted sweater because it was suggested to me by my lovely stylist Layla and I agree with her that these two things go well together.  I do admit that it felt a little like I was reliving my Senior Photo days while we were taking this photo. LOL The sweater was a tad too loose for my liking, but after this first Fix, I played around with my size settings to make sure I get the right fit for myself next time.  It’s all a matter of preference and what you feel comfortable wearing.

Sweet Grey; Tulay Crochet Detail Knit Top & Lila Ryan; Liza Colored Skinny Jean

Last but certainly not least is this adorable lace top!  I paired this top with a mint green bralette.  This top is also super cute for either a date night or girls night out!  I love that it’s so breathable! This racerback design has been in for quite some time as well as the lace style. What a unique piece!

Fun2Fun; Mia Crochet Lace Top

So, after I tried everything on to see how it fit and everything, I realized that some of the items were big on me (like I had mentioned earlier, the sizes I picked for myself were a little too big).  I ended up choosing to keep the pink lace top above, but I would have kept everything had they all fit me because I loved EVERY piece. Layla did a great job! The pants fit great and the dress fit well except for it was slightly loose at the top.  The mint top fit pretty well but I would have preferred it a little tighter. The bonus if you decide to keep all of the pieces is that you get 25% off!  That’s on top of the $20 styling fee that they subtract from the total (this gets subtracted from any Fix if you decide to keep an item(s).

I am VERY pleased with my first Fix!  I cannot wait to see what my next one looks like and I’ll definitely be posting another StitchFix Fashion Show once I schedule and receive my next Fix.

If you enjoyed checking out these clothes and want to see what SitchFix is all about or want to try StitchFix for yourself (which I highly recommend), go here.

As we are approaching the end of summer, it’s time for a new set of bright and popping fall colors to be added to your wardrobe.  What’s your favorite fall color?  Please feel free to comment below!

Until next time ladies!

Surviveware First Aid Kit Review

Happy Monday everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend.  So, I was excited when I found out that I would get to review the Surviveware First Aid Kit.  For as old as I am, I have never owned a First Aid Kit, so I don’t have much to compare it to other than general knowledge of what you might want in a first aid kit.  After looking over this kit, I would say it is fully stocked for emergencies.

Thankfully I haven’t had to use this First Aid Kit since I received it, but here are some things you might want to know about it:

-Surviveware states that the scissors included in the kit can cut through clothing and seatbelts, that’s very helpful.

-It comes with 80 basic lifesaving items and only weighs 1 pound!

-You can easily store it in your glove compartment.  It can also be worn on another bag or on your belt. I definitely plan on taking/using this while hiking , in my car, and even at home.  I may end up buying another one just so I can store them multiple places.

I think these would also make great gifts. My first thought was this is something a parent could give their son or daughter before sending them off to college.

-The bag is waterproof and the items inside the kit are protected by laminate pouches.

One of my most favorite parts about this kit is that it’s labeled by function.  How convenient when you are (potentially) freaking out in an emergency and want to find something quickly.

-AND they have a 100% money back guarantee and the bag has a lifetime guarantee.

Here’s all of the pouches labeled by function:

Also, it includes a nice little card which gives you $5 off your next purchase, referral rewards, and a list of all of the items included in your kit.  They also include their website so that you can learn more about all of the items included in your kit.

15.7ft 20LED Warm White Crystal Ball Solar String Outdoor Bubble Lights Review

These lights are really pretty! I love having my yard decorated with lights, it really makes the yard look nice. I also love that these are solar powered. No messy cords to deal with or having my electricity bill go up. They were super easy to set up too. Just attach the solar panel to the stake. Place the stake in the ground (make sure you place it so that the solar panel can reach the sun in order to charge the lights). Turn on the button in the back. And put your lights up. The lights will automatically turn on once it becomes dark outside.
