Simply Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Collection Review

20170716_152213

Happy Thursday everyone! I’m excited to tell you about these products that I’ve been using recently. I received them free from Crowdtap for testing and review purposes and all opinions are my own. It’s the Simply Summer’s Eve Coconut Water collection which includes: a package of 24 Cleansing Cloths, a box of 14 individually wrapped Cleansing Cloths, and Gentle Foaming Wash. Keep reading if you want to hear what I thought of them. 🙂

20170720_190632I really enjoyed using the Simply Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Cleansing Cloths. You can use them at home (like I did) or easily take them with you traveling wherever you go. The coconut scent smells delicious, especially for summertime. I felt that the cloths did a great job of making me feel cleansed and fresh and I had no irritation whatsoever. The packaging is also very sturdy which is great because it keeps the cloths moist.

20170720_190604These Simply Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Cleansing Cloths are basically the same as the ones in the package above, they are just wrapped individually so you can shove a couple in your purse, backpack, luggage, etc. Very convenient to have and the packaging is sturdy.

20170720_190533Last but certainly not least is the Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Gentle Foaming Wash. This stuff is great because you don’t need to lather up any soap because it does all that for you! You just squeeze one pump of foam into your hand and you’re good to go.  I thought that this also did a great job of making me feel clean and helping me stay fresh. I didn’t have any irritation with this cleanser.

Overall I definitely enjoyed using these products and will continue using the ones I have. Have you tried any products from the Simply Summer’s Eve line or are you interested in trying them? Please feel free to comment below.

Summer’s Eve also has a Simply Summer’s Eve Collection in Mandarin Blossom.

Until next time,

Kleenex Multicare Large Tissue Review

IMG_20170529_144717_853Happy Thursday everyone! Today I want to tell you guys about the Kleenex Multicare large tissues. I was fortunate to receive these for free to test out from Chatterbox.

20170529_144840My boyfriend and I love having BBQ’s at our home and so I thought what better way to test these Kleenex Multicare tissues out. I decided to use them to clean my patio table. I thought they did a pretty good job, but I would say I’d prefer to use these more so for wiping my hands when I’m eating a snack or when cold/flu/allergy season hits because one regular size Kleenex sometimes just doesn’t do the job.

I definitely considering purchasing these in the future along with the regular size Kleenex tissues that I usually buy because sometimes you just need a bigger tissue and you don’t want to have to use multiple tissues to get the job done. I picked these up at my local Target. Man I love Target! Who doesn’t, right?

Have you guys tried the Kleenex Multiuse large tissues before or are you interested in trying them? Please feel free to comment below.

Until next time,

Snapple Straight Up Tea Review

IMG_20170529_153408_506Happy Thursday everyone! It’s been a hot one out here in Northern California, especially with the Excessive Heat Warning that’s been going on. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far and staying cool. Speaking of staying cool, today’s review is about Snapple Straight Up Tea that I received for free to test out thanks to Smiley360.

IMG_20170529_151735_879My boyfriend and I decided to have a Memorial Day BBQ and the Snapple Straight Up Teas went perfectly with it! It was nice and hot that day and the teas were very refreshing. I must say that I liked the Sorta Sweet one better just because I can do without as much sugar, but they both tasted delicious. My boyfriend tried both of them as well and he liked both of them also.

IMG_20170522_190454_446I picked up my Snapple Straight Up Teas from my local Target store.

20170618_100844I’m also looking forward to trying their other flavors: Unsweetened, Rooibos and Honey Green.

Have you tried any of the Snapple Straight Up Teas yet? If so, what did you think? Or are you interested in trying them? Please feel free to comment below.

Until next time,

L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Color Correcting Kit, Foundation & Concealing and Contour Kit Review

20170603_120126.jpgHappy Sunday ladies! I was lucky to have the opportunity to test out these L’Oreal Infallible  Total Cover products for free thanks to BzzAgent. Continue reading if you want to find out what I thought of these products and to see some photos of the results.

20170603_132841The L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Color Correcting Kit worked really well. It was also really easy to use as I just tapped my fingertip on whichever color I wanted to use and then I could build up the product if I needed to do so. The green color corrector which is meant to neutralize red tones did a great job of doing that for my skin. I practically applied it over my entire face because my face tends to have a lot of redness to it and it completely got rid of the redness. I put the peach color corrector under my eyes and it did a pretty good job of reducing my dark circles. I applied the yellow color corrector on top of the peach color corrector to further neutralize my dark circles because I didn’t really have anywhere else to put the yellow. I applied the purple color corrector to my cheekbones to help brighten them. You could definitely see how the purple color corrector drew attention to my cheekbones. I will undoubtedly continue using this kit and will probably be purchasing this in the future because I like so many things about it.

20170603_132818
The L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover Foundation does an awesome job at evening my skin tone and providing excellent coverage all over my face. It felt really lightweight and I loved the fluffy yet thicker texture of the foundation because that made it easy to go onto my skin and gave me the confidence that it would do its job. I felt that it did a good job of lasting throughout the entire day. I also like that it comes in a tube and the tube has a fine tip on it so that you don’t accidentally squeeze out too much foundation. I’m definitely going to continue using this product and consider purchasing this in the future.
20170603_132732
The Infallible Total Cover Concealing and Contour Kit was pretty fun to use. I like the fact that it was in cream form instead of powder (which is what I usually use) because to me it was easier to blend. I used the lighter shades to highlight down the bridge of my nose and my forehead. I used the darker contouring shade on my cheekbones, forehead, and chin. I will definitely continue using this contour kit and I’m excited to see what other ways I can try to use it.

Here is a photo of me after my entire makeup routine is complete. As you can see, I’m definitely a fan of these products and I will continue using them.

Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tan Review

IMG_20170406_152009_868.jpg

Hi everyone! I am thrilled to do this review today because I have really enjoyed using this product. It’s the Almay Healthy Glow Makeup + Gradual Self Tan.

20170405_061949Here is a photo of me without any makeup on before trying the product out. This will help you to see the difference in skin tone between my skin then and now.

20170415_105623This is me wearing the product. This is after 7 days of wearing it. I think my skin looks pretty good! Flawless, even skin tone and a nice color to my skin.

20170414_163138And here I am on the 7th after day taking off the product. Can you see a difference in my skin tone compared to the first photo? I definitely can see that my skin looks tanner.

I love that it is a gradual tan just like it says. It didn’t make any streaks on my face and it was super easy to use. A little goes a long way also, so don’t pump out too much when first applying it to your face. The bottle contains two separate bottles inside of it. One has the foundation and the other has the gradual tanner in it.

When I pump the product out, I mix it together on my fingertips and then apply it to my face with my hands. I have foundation makeup brushes but lately I’ve been into using my hands to apply foundation. It’s really easy to use and goes on nicely. I think that a bottle of this product will last me quite a while and I’m definitely considering purchasing this in the future as it is only $12.99 for a bottle at my local Target.

The shade that I’m using is the Light/Medium 200. It also comes in Light 100 and Medium 300.

I received this product free to test and review from Crowdtap. They gave me two bottles. One for myself and one for a friend. The one that I gave my friend is the Light 100 shade. She was super happy to receive it.

PART_1492361940562_IMG_20170416_095822So, here is a picture of my friend after trying the Light 100 shade. She said that it went on smoothly and she loves the way it looks on her skin. I’m so happy that she ended up being a fan of the product just like me.

Have any of you guys tried this foundation out? I would love to hear your thoughts and/or questions!

Until next time,

L’Oreal AIR DRY IT Wave Swept Spray Review

IMG_20170309_105222_531

Happy Saturday everyone! I’m really excited to tell you about this new hair product that I’ve been using for the past month; L’Oreal’s AIR DRY IT Wave Swept Spray!

It has a very pleasant scent; light and sort of fruity.

It’s super easy to use. You just:

  1. Spray throughout towel-dried hair
  2. Scrunch your hair
  3. Then AIR DRY IT

It also says that if you have naturally straight hair to apply the product, then put your hair in a braid to create soft waves. So far I haven’t tried the braiding method because my hair is naturally wavy, but I would love to try that to see how my waves turn out afterwards.

IMG_20170413_170800_948I love that it gives my hair so much volume and it really keeps my waves in place throughout the entire day. Although I have naturally wavy hair, if I don’t apply a product to it in the morning, the waves eventually fall out and my hair ends up pretty straight. I would definitely say that this product does what it says it will do. It helps my hair resist frizz, adds a shine to it and provides a hold for a textured, wavy look. Also, my hair isn’t crunchy or anything.

IMG_20170311_140700_838I don’t always say this about products that I get to test and review but I LOVE this product! It’s definitely going to remain a staple in my hair routine every morning. I used to just let my hair air dry without product in it, but this has definitely given my hair life! I also love the fact that I don’t have to use any heat on my hair due to blow drying. The price point is also very affordable. It’s only $3.97 at my local Target. The only downfall is that the bottle is only 4.2 ounces.

An interesting thing about the beautiful packaging is that it was designed by international artist and fashion collaborator Stina Persson. The design on the bottle is actually water color artwork which I find to be very fitting for this type of product.

Not only does L’Oreal carry this amazing product, but they also have 2 other products in their AIR DRY IT collection.

They have the AIR DRY IT Undone Style Cream which seems to be the cream version of the AIR DRY IT Wave Swept Spray that I have.

There is also the AIR DRY IT Ruffled Body Mousse which seems to be more for people with curly hair, but I would be willing to try this out to see what my hair would look like.

Have you tried any of the products in L’Oreal’s AIR DRY It collection? I would love to hear your thoughts. And as always, if you have any questions about the product that I tried out, please leave them below.

I received this product free for testing and review purposes from Influenster and all opinions are my own.

The Hair Mother Cellar Silky Hair Argan Ampule Review

IMG_20170326_103120_080.jpg

Happy Thursday all! Today I would like to tell you about The Hair Mother Cellar Silky Hair Argan Ampule. I have been using this on my hair the last week and I feel it has done a great job of making my hair look nice and healthy.

20170330_190609.jpg

This was enjoyable to use! I love that it comes with a pump, makes it very easy to use. I just take a small pump of it, rub it between my hands and then through the ends and middle of my hair. With argan oil I always avoid putting it on my scalp so that it doesn’t make it look greasy. It has a nice scent also. It also comes with a lot of product so I know this will last me a long time. It is an oil, so I usually wash my hands after applying it to my hair. No biggie though.
