Happy Friday everyone! I hope everyone has had a great week and that you have something fun or relaxing planned for this weekend. I’m grateful to be enjoying a 4 day weekend this weekend. So, let’s get right into it! I received the Luxe VoxBox from Influenster for free to test and review. This by far has been the best box I have ever received from Influenster! It came with the following products: Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Drying Towel, Amika Nourishing Mask, Amika Un.Done Texture Spray, Dr. Brandt Needles No More NO MORE BAGGAGE Eye De-Puffing Gel and Grande Lips Hydrating Lip Plumper in Clear Gloss.
Aquis Lisse Luxe Hair Drying Towel
First of all, I could tell that this towel was different than other hair towels that I’ve used before because it has a different texture to it. You could almost describe it as a springy texture. It doesn’t feel like regular old cotton because it isn’t. It’s easy to use! I just wrapped my hair up in it as soon as I got out of the shower, got ready, put my makeup on, then I took my hair down from the towel. I noticed right away that my hair had more volume to it after I took the towel off and it just looked healthier. It also dried my hair significantly faster than it normally would if I was just using a regular towel. I’m definitely a fan of this product and I highly recommend it! This towel is part of my daily routine from here on out now.
Amika Nourishing Mask & Un.Done Texture Spray
I had my own mini spa day at home with Amika! Their Nourishing Masks works amazingly well! First of all, the texture is nice and thick which usually tells me that it’s good quality. I confirmed it’s quality as soon as I applied it to my hair! The mask absorbed into my hair nicely and easily detangled it. It smells awesome too! After I got out of the shower and let my hair air dry, I could feel and see how soft it was. This is definitely a mask that I’m going to purchase in the future!
I then applied my Un.Done Texture Spray to my roots and all over the rest of my hair. It gave my hair more body, bounce and volume. Unlike other styling sprays I’ve used before, this did not make my hair feel hard. You wouldn’t even know I was wearing anything in my hair! This also smells really nice! It doesn’t have a chemical or strong smell to it. It’s very light. It’s meant to absorb dirt and oil as well as style your hair. I love that it’s basically a dry shampoo and a styling spray all in one without the white powder residue.
Overall I’m super pleased with these products and how my hair turned out. I can definitely say that I’m an Amika fan now! ♡♡♡♡
Dr. Brandt Needles No More NO MORE BAGGAGE Eye De-puffing Gel
In my photo collage you will see a photo of me before I applied the product, after one application, and after I applied the second layer. I could definitely feel a difference after applying one layer as well as two layers of this product! My skin feels tighter under my eye area which is how I know it’s working. I think if I were to try this in the morning you guys will see more of a difference in the de-puffing since that tends to be the time of day when we are the most puffiest of course. But even so I can tell a difference after applying this in the afternoon. The packaging is really professional and sleek. The tip of the tube is really small which is helpful because you don’t need very much of this product. PRO TIP: make sure you follow their instructions and wait for the product to dry before applying another layer. After applying it under my eye area, I could feel a slight sting but nothing painful. You could tell it was definitely doing something to my under-eye area. And just as a side note, I was born with these dark circles unfortunately so they aren’t from lack of sleep or anything. But hey, Dr. Brandt has their work cut out for them with my dark circles. Lol! And I know this tube is going to last me for quite some time because you don’t need much product at all for one use. This is a product that I will continue to use and consider purchasing in the future. I also love the texture! It’s got a nice thickness to it, but it’s not too thick. It goes on very easy and smoothly.
GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper
Holy moly this product is amazing! In the above photo collage you’ll see the Before photo, After 5 minutes photo, and After 30 Days photo. Look at the difference that it makes! My lips are super plumped and hydrated and I love the feeling of this product on my lips. It’s really easy to use too! There’s a little clicker on the bottom of the applicator and you click it until enough product comes out that you need. Then you apply it to your lips and wallah! I definitely got compliments on how moisturized and full my lips looked. I will definitely continue using this product and consider purchasing it in the future as well. The only downfall is that it has a scent to it that I’m not a fan of but after I apply it to my lips I don’t smell it anymore.
